    VW naj bi, kakor je mogoče prebrati v spodnjem linku, za letošnji W-see pripravljal posebno različico “GTI”-ja – poimenovano torej “Club Sport”, ki sloni na izvedbi “Performance”.

    GTI Club Sport?Hmm…

    This is one of those times where we get pictures from one of our spy photographers that hangs out at the Nurburgring and no one is quite sure what to make of the car that was photographed. Outwardly it looks like a GTI that someone modified (and we use that term loosely). The Wiechers stickers on the sides are from a German company that makes roll cages. The weird thing is that the “Sport” part of the sticker on the side was removed and stuck to the hood. The rear spoiler is hideous and a complete afterthought. So if VW engineers were trying to throw people off, this could do it.

    However the car has the normal performance pack brakes instead of the Golf R brakes which you would assume would be part of some kind of higher performance package. There have been rumors of both a Golf RS (which we don’t think this is) and a Golf GTI/R EVO with a 2.0TFSI with more power and light weight. Either way I’m not sure anyone knows at this point so we’ll run the photos and you guys can run your imaginations. :)

    Ah – ni, da bi se človek prav sekiral! 8) =) Si me pa slikovno prav lepo dopolnil. :thumbsup:

    “Pretoria” platišča pa še celo bolje izpadejo, kakor na “R”-u. Vsaj na prvi pogled.

    Bomo pa počasi tako ali tako izvedeli, kaj “kuha” VW.

    Za moj okus se mi zdi zadni spojler za malenkost preveč vzdignjen. Drugač pa :clap:

    Volkswagen preskuša novega najhitrejšega tovarniškega Golfa

    Če gre verjeti napovedim, potem bomo čez nekaj tednov na salonu v Pekingu videli premiero novega Golfa R EVO. Prvi testi na Zelenem peklu so že v teku.

    Novi Golf R EVO naj bi bil še lažji od R izvedbe, govori se o 100 kilogramih, dvolitrski turbo motor naj bi razvijal preko 300 konjskih moči, kar bi Golfu omogočilo, da od 0 do 100 km/h pospeši v manj kot petih sekundah.

    Točno tako, res je na posnetku “GTI Club Sport”, ampak sem moral vseeno objaviti ta zelo “šlampast” narejen prispevek novinarja.

    Že info. o R EVO -tu so nopopolne. Imel bo 370KM in ne nekaj čez 300 kot je zgoraj zapisano.

    Vohunski fotografi so blizu dirkališča Nürburgring opazili skrivnostno različico volkswagna golf GTI. Kljub temu, da izgleda kot prototip ekipe Wiechers Sport, so fotografi vseeno namignili, da je avtomobil bolj poseben, kot se zdi, saj je imel dva spremljevalna avtomobila iz koncerna Volkswagen.

    Podporna ekipa tudi ni bila najbolj navdušena, ko so opazili, da so vohunski fotografi na delu. Kljub neodobravanju slike razkrivajo spojler spredaj, znižano podvozje, petkraka platišča, ogromen spojler zadaj in sedeže, kakršne premore samo Golf R.

    O moči je seveda nesmiselno govoriti, vendar je motor po besedah fotografov zvenel tako, kot da ima na razpolago ogromno vrancev. Po vsej verjetnosti se je pod pokrovom skrival 2,0-litrski turbobencinski štirivaljnik, iz katerega so iztisnili več moči. Seveda nič ni uradno, vendar vseeno lahko predvidevamo, da se bo avtomobil prvič pokazal javnosti na prireditvi Wörthersee 2014 kot Volkswagen Golf GTI Club Sport.

    Golf GTI Club Sport

    Next year the GTI celebrates its 40th anniversary in Europe. Volkswagen will mark this historic event with an anniversary model: the new Golf GTI Club Sport. Volkswagen will debut this near-production ready “concept” at Worthersee in Austria next week.

    The Club Sport will have 195 kW / 265 hp (+ 35 hp compared to the Golf GTI Performance) and what Volkswagen is calling a temporarily “boost” function giving an additional “10 percent peak power” making this the strongest production GTI ever. The anniversary model will not only come with uprated power, but with a customized interior and more aggressive front and rear bumper treatments.

    The design modifications include a completely new front bumper, new side skirts, a new roof spoiler and a specially developed rear diffuser. These body modifications also serve a purpose in creating more downforce, necessary with the added power and higher top speeds. There are no current plans to offer this model here but we’ll continue to try and convince Volkswagen to offer it.

    Omejena serija Golfa GTI Clubsport na Wörtherseeju

    Volkswagen na srečanje ob Vrbskem jezeru pošilja novo verzijo Golfa GTI.

    Čeprav se bo pri naših severnih sosedih predstavil kot študijsko vozilo, kasneje avto vendarle prihaja med kupce kot omejena serija. Dvolitrski motor so navili na 265 konjev, medtem ko so mu za drznejši videz prenovili sprednji odbijač (večje odprtine za zrak), dodali so nov zadnji spojler in difuzor, obenem pa niso manjkale niti nova aluminijasta platišča. Cena naj bi se gibala okrog 34 tisoč evrov, a podrobnosti bodo znane v torek.

    Videti je zanimivo – prednji konec mi je všečnejši od zadnjega sicer.
    Jasno – najbolj mi v oči padejo stranske obrobe za zrak, malo drugačna osrednja spodnja mreža in – predvsem – podaljšek spodaj, kar sem imel v mislih že pri rdečem (testnem) “Clubsport”-u.

    Bomo videli, kako bo tole v živo, že zdaj pa mi je žal, ker bo na voljo – najverjetneje! – LE kot trivratnik. Torej – za moje (naše) potrebe neuporaben.

    First Official Images of Golf GTI Clubsport Surface Ahead of Worthersee Debut

    – Exclusive anniversary model for 40th birthday of the GTI
    – Golf GTI Clubsport debuts with 265 PS and boost function

    Next year, the Golf GTI celebrates its 40th birthday. Volkswagen is marking this historic event with a progressive anniversary model: the new Golf GTI Clubsport. Volkswagen will be showcasing the Golf GTI Clubsport on 14th May as part of the legendary GTI meet at Lake Wörthersee, when it will make its world premiere in the form of a near-production concept car.

    With a power output of 195 kW / 265 PS (35 PS more than the Golf GTI Performance) and top performance temporarily increased by around a further 10 per cent thanks to a boost function, the Golf GTI Clubsport is set to take off at the start of 2016 as the most powerful production ‘GTI’ yet. The anniversary model is being launched not only with an extremely powerful engine, but also with an individualised interior and exclusive bodywork details.

    The design modifications include a completely new front bumper, new side sills, a new and aerodynamically highly innovative roof-edge spoiler and a specially developed rear diffuser. All of these features were designed with the aim of further enhancing the GTI’s performance and of thereby bringing form and function into perfect harmony. The interplay of the very high power output thanks to the boost function and significantly improved levels of downforce move the Golf GTI Clubsport into the realms of motorsport driving dynamics. Consequently, handling remains extremely stable even at very high speeds. Breath-taking cornering speeds are also possible. The new Golf GTI Clubsport thus makes a great case for itself as unadulterated sports car.

    izgled je brutalno naravnan, edino manjši kiks pri ravno ne-diskretnem zadnjem strešnem spojlerju so naredili… :thumbsup:

    Vse od testnega,rdečega koncepta, pa do te končne različice, se je vse skupaj dokaj dobro odvilo. Strinjam pa se z Galom glede zadnjega spojlerja (res jim je malce pretirano “ušel” izpod rok, čeprav hvalabogu precej manj, kot na rdečem testnem primerku), ampak v splošnem mi je najbolje izpadel spredaj – sploh prednji podaljšek spodaj. Super.
    V druge podrobnosti se tokrat niti ne bi spuščal, saj mi osebno niso ravno pomembne.
